However, as biotechnology and artificial intelligence advance, organisms are increasingly understood as biochemical algorithms. This shift threatens to move more authority from human intuition to external data networks, potentially creating a vastly unequal society divided into upgraded superhumans and a massive economically useless class, while challenging humanism with a new religion of Dataism.
